Farewell SIC, NJ

We enjoyed breakfast once last time in Sea Isle City before heading home. I loved every moment of my first trip to the beach. I look forward to our next trip to the beach to play in the waves and build sand castles.

Last Night at the Beach

Well, tonight was our last night in Sea Isle City, so we decided to head out for dinner. I was so tired and refused to take a nap all day long, so Daddy decided to take me for a walk and have Mommy bring our dinner home.
By the time Daddy and I walked to the square I was rested and ready to hit the amusement park! I decided to ride a rabbit on the carousel, loved the ferris wheel, had a blast on the balloon scrambler and screamed with joy on the giant slide.

We ended our night on the town at our usual ice cream shop for a twist cone....can you tell how tired this little girl is?

Turdo Winery

After enjoying the morning and early afternoon at the beach it was off to a wineryn in Cape May. We didn't get any photos while tasting, but here's one of me on the way to the Turdo Family Vineyard & Winery. The entire drive I kept asking "Are we going to a winery?" Once we arrived I had fun checking out the vines, petting the families dog, snacking on the yummy crackers and doing cheers with Mommy.

Future Lifeguards?

After a hot day at the zoo we relaxed and enjoyed dinner before heading back to the beach for some fun. Here are a few shots of the family hoping to find some buried loot while others were playing the Ladder Game.

Can you hear the Baywatch theme song playing in the background?

While everyone was busy playing Emily and I were making sure the ocean was safe. Can you tell we take our job seriously!

Cape May Zoo

I have been waiting patiently all week for our morning at the Cape May Zoo and now it's finally here! Today was one of the hottest days of the entire week, so the animals were relaxing in the shade.
While walking past the water buffalo he made a loud grunting sound...so the rest of the way through the zoo I tried my best to mimic the buffalo grunt. I was excited to see the giraffes, zebras, lion, tiger, black bear, alligators, turtles and the little monkey. To finish out our day at the zoo we took a ride on the zoo animal carousel and made trip to the gift shop. I brought home a giraffe who I call "Snuggie".

Boardwalk Arcade & Walks in my Stroller

While staying at the beach I have enjoyed hitting the arcade to play a few games and catch a few rides. One of my favorite rides is one with three race horses...I always picked the same horse.

All this week I have refused to lay down for a nap...I guess I'm afraid I will miss something. Usually Mommy and Daddy take me for a walk around the town and in a matter of minutes I am fast asleep.

The Boardwalk

Since arriving at the beach I have been telling Mommy and Daddy I want to ride on a roller coaster.....well, tonight we headed over to the Ocean City, NJ Boardwalk and on the car ride I fell asleep.

Fast asleep...Mommy knew I would be upset if I slept through the Boardwalk so she decided to wake me up.

Anna and Uncle Rick rode the Sky Railroad with us

Can you tell how excited I am to be at an amusement park.

Finally riding the roller coaster....see my hands up in the air

Relaxing with my girls

After a day at the beach I decided to relax and watch a movie with my girls....Emily and Anna! Next we decided to head over to Rita's for an ice cream cone.

I love chocolate and vanilla twist cones

Emily must be a purist...she had vanilla in a dish

As you can see Anna loves twist cones

Happy Father's Day

This morning I woke up gave my Daddy a huge hug, told him I loved him and gave him his present. I think I enjoyed opening it more than he did.....I love opening presents!

After presents and breakfast we decided to hit the beach. In my opinion there's nothing better than hanging out with my Daddy and celebrating Daddy's special day on the beach.

Jumping waves with Emily

I love you Daddy

Happy Father's Day Daddy...I love you!

The Beach - Ava's First Visit

After weeks of me asking Mommy and Daddy when are we going to the beach......we are FINALLY HERE! We unloaded all the vehicles then Emily and I hopped into the wagon with our buckets in hand to head to the beach! Here are a few of Mommy's favorites

Loaded up and ready to go

First wave crashing on my feet
I love running in the waves with Daddy & Emily
Look Adam found a hermit crab!
When we were leaving the beach there were two girls handing out flyers and lolly pops on the boardwalk. They offered one to Emily first and I looked at them and said, "I like lolly pops!"

Back at the house and monitoring the work on the puzzle

Mommy: Ava come on we need to go
Ava: Mommy, just a minute
Mommy: Ava we need to leave now, please hurry up
Ava: Mommy you need to be patient

Ava: Daddy or Mommy you want to color with me?
Daddy or Mommy: Sure
Ava: Great, come on.

Stop Growing!

This morning I told Mommy I wanted to wear my backback and go to school. I don't understand why she always tells me to slow down and stop growing up so fast!

2010 Representative Cutler Picnic

I had soooo much fun at Representative Cutler's picnic this year....I started off in the bouncy house (loved it), dined on great bbq, played some fun games and finished the afternoon off with a candy scramble. My friends Noah and Ryan were there....it was great to see them!

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

When Mommy and I went to California last year in late July/early August Aunt Carlyn gave this awesome bubble blower.

Afternoon at the park

Mommy, Daddy and I decided to head over to the park for a little afternoon fun today.

Car ride to the park

I couldn't wait any longer...had to run to the playground

Mommy.....where are you?

Checking out the water from the bridge

Daddy and I racing back to the playground

We ended our afternoon at the park with a ice cream cone from the snack bar.
