Future Landscaper or Landscape Architect?

I love climbing up on the mower and pretending to drive it around. Sometimes I tell Mommy or Daddy that I am riding the mower over to see Emily. Today I decided to wear the proper safety equipment for mowing.

Memorial Day Picnic

Sunday we went into the farm for a Memorial Day picnic and to let the adults discuss our upcoming trip to the beach. I asked for a lolly pop and insisted on taking one in for Anna and Emily.

Dinner on the porch

Tonight Mommy and I enjoyed a nice flank steak dinner on the front porch. I was quite the little helper...taking out the silverware, napkins, helping take out the tv trays and clean up after dinner.

Future Baker?

Mommy needed a little help baking a cake, so I decided to lend a helping hand. I really enjoyed baking and told Mommy I will help her bake any time.

Fun at the outlets

Today Mommy and I went shopping and hit the fun spots at the outlets. I had fun playing at the playground and test driving a red sports car.

Dinner for Uncle Chuck

Nana's brother Chuck was up from Charlotte to visit the family, so Nanny decided to host a family dinner. I was a little shy at first around Uncle Chuck, but soon warmed up around my second slice of pumpkin bread. Uncle Chuck thought it was pretty funny when I announced to the entire room "mmmm, I love this stuff...more please mommy!"

After dinner I had a blast counting the plastic fruit with Nate. I counted them for a while, but soon thought it was fun to have Nate count and ask him what number comes next and next.

Mother's Day

Ava,
Thank you for making this Mother's Day so incredibly special. You are the best thing to happen in my life. I look forward to watching you grow and experience new things each and every day. You are the light of my life and amaze me with your development and sweet heart. I love you sweet pea!

Happy Mother's Day

This morning Daddy and I made breakfast for Mommy so she could relax and enjoy her cup of coffee. This afternoon we headed over to Aunt Amy, Uncle Rick's and Anna's house to celebrate Mother's Day with the family. We ordered pizza, stromboli and wings from Papa Joe's.

Playpen

This afternoon I told Mommy I wanted to play in my playpen. I thought it was a little chilly in the house, so I put on my hat and grabbed my purse to look for my mittens.

Mommy's Little Helper

The weather was nice this afternoon, so Mommy and I decided to clean the front porch furniture and railing. Since I was in a cleaning mood I thought it would be a good idea to scrub the porch.

Future Gymnast

This morning Mommy, Daddy and I went to the Little Gym for a preview visit. At first I was very shy and intimidated by the 15+ other kids.....but as time went by I warmed up to the instructors and the other kids. My favorite parts of the class....the balance beam, the bar, the tunnels and THE BUBBLES! By the end of the class I was sitting with Miss Samantha & Miss Tori during the turtle song and didn't want to say goodbye to the fun equipment.
