Farewell 2008

Please bear with my Mommy as she reflects on a few of her favorite/memorable events of the last 12 months



• Renovating our new home
• Martina’s parents Renalto and Daniella visiting from Italy
• Being pregnant – I loved every minute of it (I guess I was lucky)
• Driving to the hospital from work and then finding out I was going into labor a full month early!
• The fast, easy and healthy delivery of our beautiful daughter AvaMarie Charlotte on April 3rd (Martina’s 17th Birthday)
• Introducing everyone to our amazing baby girl
• Having my mom and sister visit from California after the birth of Ava
• Saying goodbye to Martina
• The healthy arrival of Baby Anna to the Rineer Family
• Ava’s Baptism
• Introducing Ava to friends and family in California/Nevada
• Every moment of being new parents
• All of Ava’s firsts



So farewell, 2008...thank you for being so good to the Martin Family. We look forward to 2009 and our new adventures!

Happy Birthday Daddy and Aunt Abby!

Tonight Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Abby and Uncle Greg went out to dinner to celebrate their Birthday and New Years Eve!

Future Flight Attendant or Professional Traveler?

Mommy and Daddy were nervous how I would be on a 5 hour flight after a 2.5 hour delay in San Fran....I was a complete angel!

Goodbye CA!

I can't believe our two weeks in California are coming to an end! I am so thankful I was finally able to meet all of the family and friends Mommy and Daddy have been talking about for months.

Merry Christmas!

Wow, where do I begin....Christmas morning started off with big smiles and kisses from Mommy and Daddy as they wished me Merry Christmas. Down at Grandma and Gramps I got the chance to rip the wrapping paper on my Christmas presents. We spent the afternoon at Nanny's house with all the family and guess what....more presents to rip open. Mommy, Daddy and I took a few pictures out by the goats and I had the chance to pet one of the goats on the nose (Cedro). Back inside I had lots of fun playing on the floor with Daddy and Gramps....Daddy would chase me and I would crawl to Gramps and laugh. Gramps and I had a little one on one time, so Daddy and Mommy could eat their lunch.

Tonight I met more of Mommy's friends and made a new friend of my own! We went out to Sushi with Kathy (Kat2too), Breean, Ethan, Debra, and Claudia.

My 1st Plane Ride

Today was my first time on an airplane....everyone told Mommy and Daddy what a great little traveler I am. Here is a picture of Daddy and I waiting for our plane in Salt Lake City.
